Today in Stoke, an hour and three-quarters' effort yielded one capture: a male hummingbird previously banded on August 29, 2007.
Comparing the number of captures with last year's figures, if we can take our lot in Stoke as an indicator, it looks like the migration is a little late this year.
No need for alarm yet, though!
